Recap: Napoleon Wildcats vs. Archbold Blue Streaks
The Napoleon Wildcats's game on Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They managed a 40-34 victory over Archbold. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Napoleon also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Napoleon's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chloe Cicero, who scored 12 points along with four steals. Cicero continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Lily Kruse, who scored eight points along with five steals.
The win got Napoleon back to even at 5-5. As for Archbold, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
Napoleon and Wauseon will round out the year against one another at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at. Archbold will finish 2023 at home by hosting Kalida at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Ohio (Kalida is ranked 275th, while Archbold is ranked 269th).
