Second Baptist is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Lake Houston HomeSchool is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Second Baptist Eagles will host the Lake Houston HomeSchool Conquerors at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

On Tuesday, everything came up roses for Second Baptist against Logos Prep Academy as the team secured a 65-27 victory. With the Eagles ahead 42-13 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Second Baptist's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Grace Wehring, who went 9 of 12 on her way to 24 points along with eight steals and six rebounds, and Eloise Tackett, who went 9 for 16 en route to 24 points in addition to six boards and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Tackett has scored at least a third of Second Baptist's points. Chloe Vessel was another key player, putting up eight points and five assists.

Meanwhile, everything went Lake Houston HomeSchool's way against Humble Christian last Monday as Lake Houston HomeSchool made off with a 47-26 win. The Conquerors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Second Baptist has also been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a massive bump to their 14-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.1 points per game. As for Lake Houston HomeSchool, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
