The Shawnee Wolves had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Harrah. Shawnee was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Harrah apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2022.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shawnee will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Purcell at 7:00 p.m. on March 8th. As for Harrah, they will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Santa Fe South Pathways Middle College at 3:00 p.m.
