Volleyball Preview: Ephrata Mountaineers vs. Elizabethtown Bears        
        
		
             The Ephrata Mountaineers will take on the Elizabethtown Bears at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
 Ephrata is headed into the  contest having just  suffered their biggest  defeat since September 14th on Tuesday. They came up short against  Hempfield, falling  3-0. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Mountaineers in their matchups with the Black Knights: they've now lost seven in a row.
 While Ephrata ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17,  25-20.
 The losing side was boosted by   Chloe Saylor, who  had ten  digs and two  aces.
 Meanwhile, Elizabethtown got the win against Manheim Central  last Monday by a conclusive  3-0. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Bears this season.
 Elizabethtown was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-22,  26-24.
 Ephrata's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11-4. As for Elizabethtown, they now  have a winning record of 3-2.
