Softball Recap: Roosevelt Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Washburn, Roosevelt was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the International School of Minnesota Huskies a 27-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what the Teddies needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Ilsa Kaley was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Kaley was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Roosevelt always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .735. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2025.

The win got Roosevelt back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Roosevelt will square off against Camden at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Teddies' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. International School of Minnesota does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
