Volleyball Recap: Genevieve Piaskoski Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Milwaukee Riverside

Audubon lost to Milwaukee Riverside on Wednesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Cardinals walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tigers.

Audubon's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Genevieve Piaskoski led the charge by getting four aces and two blocks. Piaskoski is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Naiomi Orosco-Wilder was another key player, getting five aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Audubon was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 12 aces in three consecutive matchups.

Audubon's victory bumped their record up to 4-8-1. As for Milwaukee Riverside, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
