Kalida proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Miller City 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for Kalida, who have now won eight matchups in a row.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Kalida got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-20, 17-25, 25-22, 17-25, 15-9.

Kalida was led to victory by Sophie Vorst and Carlie Siefker. Vorst had nine digs, while Siefker hit 100% for five kills and 17 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Siefker has posted over her last seven contests.

Kalida's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Miller City, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 12-4.

Kalida wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Archbold on the 25th. As for Miller City, they will venture away from home to square off against Coldwater at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
