Baseball Game Preview: Miller Place Panthers vs. Kings Park Kingsmen

Miller Place is 0-4 against Kings Park since March of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Kingsmen at 4:00 p.m.

Miller Place is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of Smithtown East.

Miller Place saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joe Fallon, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs. James Di Gennaro was another, getting on base in both of his plate appearances with two runs.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Kings Park sidestepped Shoreham-Wading River for a 4-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Kingsmen.

Kings Park's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-7. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Miller Place, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.
