Football Recap: White Swan Takes a Loss

White Swan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Kittitas/Thorp 62-6. Surprisingly, this marked the Cougars' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

White Swan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Kittitas/Thorp, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. White Swan will head out to challenge La Salle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars will be up against the Lightning's rather soft defense (which has allowed 39.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Kittitas/Thorp, they are taking a road trip to take on Cle Elum-Roslyn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors' defense has only allowed 13 points per game this season, so Kittitas/Thorp's offense will have their work cut out for them.
