            Volleyball Recap: Trimble Tomcats vs. Symmes Valley Vikings        
        
		
        
        
            Trimble saw some tournament action  on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Symmes Valley Vikings with a sharp  3-0 win.
 Trimble walked away with the   victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-18, 25-8,  25-16.

 Alyvia Portier was nothing short of spectacular: she  had 11  digs and five  aces. She is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 11 or more in each of the last 12 games she's  played.
 Portier wasn't the only good servers: Trimble  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 23  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least seven  aces in 15 consecutive  contests.
Trimble has  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-12 record  this season. As for Symmes Valley, their loss was  their seventh straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 1-20.
As of now, neither Trimble nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
