Frank J. Macchiarola got themselves on the board against Truman on Saturday, but Truman never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 42-0 win over the Mustangs. The Sharks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Ahmed Cisse was his usual excellent self, rushing for 62 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Frank J. Macchiarola's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. Truman's QB won't forget Jaycob Reid anytime soon given he sacked him three times.

Frank J. Macchiarola's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.6 points over those games. As for Truman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Frank J. Macchiarola will square off against rival Stuyvesant at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Sharks 4.5, the Peglegs 8.7) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Truman is set to face off against their familiar foe Cardozo at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
