Baseball Recap: West Valley Wins Going Away Against San Jacinto

West Valley not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since February 22nd. They put the hurt on the San Jacinto Tigers with a sharp 8-0 win. The game snapped a strange streak: the last six times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

The result came thanks to Caleb Trujillo's shutout, as he gave up just five hits.

At the plate, Aiden Juarez was incredible, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024.

West Valley now has a winning record of 6-5. As for San Jacinto, they dropped their record down to 5-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coincidentally, West Valley and San Jacinto will both be playing Tahquitz the next time they take the field. West Valley will head out to face Tahquitz at 3:15 p.m. on Monday, while San Jacinto will head out to face them at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
