Volleyball Recap: The Webb School Comes Up Short

The Webb School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Zion Christian Academy Eagles. The Feet were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in September of 2018.

While The Webb School was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 25-20.

Their offense was headlined by Christyn Logan and Caylee Logan, who picked up six kills apiece. Christyn really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with six. Avery Payne controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

The Webb School's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Zion Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.

Looking ahead, The Webb School will venture away from home to challenge Providence Christian Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Zion Christian Academy, they will host Summertown at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
