Softball Game Preview: Perry Bluejays vs. Greene County Rams

The Perry Bluejays are taking a road trip to face off against the Greene County Rams at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Perry's last matchup with Prairie City-Monroe could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Bluejays came up short against the Mustangs, falling 11-1. The loss continues a trend for the Bluejays in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Greene County posted their closest victory since May 27th on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past South Hamilton 6-4. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won six in a row.

Perry now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Greene County, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Perry couldn't quite finish off Greene County when the teams last played two weeks ago and fell 3-1. Can the Bluejays avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
