Soccer Recap: Sweetwater Wins Going Away Against Sequoyah

Sequoyah kept up with Sweetwater until halftime on Wednesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Chiefs with a sharp 6-1 victory. Sweetwater might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by three goals or more this season.

Sweetwater's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Sequoyah, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sweetwater will square off against Campbell County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sequoyah, they will venture away from home to square off against South-Doyle at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sequoyah will need to watch out since South-Doyle have now posted at least four goals in their last three contests.
