Baseball Recap: Huntington Huntsmen vs. Wellston Golden Rockets
While Huntington put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Wellston. The Huntington Huntsmen came out on top against the Wellston Golden Rockets by a score of 4-0. The win was nothing new for Huntington as they're now sitting on four straight.
The result came thanks to DJ Crocker's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances.
On the hitting side, Braylon Leach was incredible, scoring a run and stealing four bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Frankie Hirsch, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
