Volleyball Recap: Eastern Guilford Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Eastern Guilford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Northern Guilford Nighthawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Nighthawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-3, 25-10, 25-6.

Teagan Rodulfo was the offensive standout of the match as she had seven aces and five digs. Those seven aces gave her a new career-high.

Eastern Guilford's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Northern Guilford, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Eastern Guilford will challenge rival Northeast Guilford at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Northern Guilford is set to square off against their familiar foe Southeast Guilford at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
