Football Recap: Leland Takes a Loss

Leland saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 20-14 to the Sequoia Ravens.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sequoia to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jamie Elkington, who picked up 106 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Leland's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Sequoia, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Leland wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-6 defeat against Santa Clara on the 20th. As for Sequoia, they have also already played their next match, a 34-6 win against MacDonald on the 20th.
