The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Lions: they've now lost eight in a row.

Delaware Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Northside Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.
