Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pioneer). They blew past the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Javelinas, posting a 77-14 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Diamondbacks who have now won 15 matches in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pioneer to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anika Fleischmann, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. Fleischmann is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last 23 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kassandra Garcia, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten assists.

Pioneer smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in 13 consecutive games.

Pioneer is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 26-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.4 points per game. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest, they dropped their record down to 0-21 with the defeat, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.
