Baseball Recap: West Fork Comes Up Short

West Fork was the 8-4 winner over Newman Catholic when they last played one another back in June of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights on Tuesday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Newman Catholic, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Knights beat West Fork by a score of 23-7 later that day.
