Basketball Game Preview: Carver Birmingham Rams vs. Moody Blue Devils

The Carver Birmingham Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Moody Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Carver Birmingham was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 49-43 to Ramsay. Carver Birmingham hasn't had much luck with Ramsay recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, Moody was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 70-66 heartbreaker at the hands of Ashville.

Moody's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Carver Birmingham, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-9.

Carver Birmingham was able to grind out a solid victory over Moody when the teams last played last Friday, winning 52-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Carver Birmingham since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
