Soccer Game Preview: Fulton vs. Hannibal

Fulton is 0-10 against Hannibal since April of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. The Hornets will host the Pirates at 6:40 p.m. Fulton has given up an average of 3.4 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Monday just wasn't the day for Fulton's offense. They lost 5-0 to Kirksville on Monday.

Meanwhile, Hannibal waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Raiders. The result was nothing new for Hannibal, who have now won five contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Fulton now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Hannibal, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Fulton suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Hannibal when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Hornets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
