Football Recap: Plainfield South Comes Up Short

Plainfield South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Andrew Thunderbolts, falling 40-7.

Plainfield South's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Andrew, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Plainfield South is set to challenge their familiar foe Downers Grove South at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Andrew will take on rival Naperville North at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
