Recap: Trinity Trojans vs. Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves
The Trinity Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight defeat. They fell 55-46 to Cuyahoga Heights. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Trinity in their matchups with Cuyahoga Heights: they've now lost four in a row.
Trinity's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aidan Duncan, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Duncan is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Sims, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Cuyahoga Heights, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity will challenge Open Door Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
