Basketball Recap: Chaney's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Chaney was the 84-76 winner over Alliance when they last played one another back in March of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Cowboys took a hard 72-55 fall against the Aviators on Saturday. The loss put an end to the Cowboys' undefeated start to the season.

When it comes to explaining why Chaney lost, don't look at Austin Brown. Despite the final result, he posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Asuante Mickel, who had 11 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Chaney fell to 2-1. As for Alliance, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Chaney has already played their next game, a 61-41 win against Chardon on the 9th. As for Alliance, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-47 victory against Louisville on the 9th.
