Softball Recap: Hidden Valley Mustangs vs. Junction City Tigers

Hidden Valley and Junction City squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Hidden Valley had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 8-6. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 18-9 loss back in April.

Bailey Sandquist made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Mady Knable, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Hidden Valley dropped their record down to 21-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Junction City, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Hidden Valley nor Junction City have any future games scheduled.
