Volleyball Recap: Monroe Takes a Loss

Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the San Fernando Tigers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-9, 25-6.

Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for San Fernando, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monroe will face off against North Hollywood at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. North Hollywood will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Monroe surely won't give up without a fight. As for San Fernando, they will take on Van Nuys at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
