For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Nimitz and MacArthur meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Nimitz Vikings took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the MacArthur Cardinals. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Nimitz's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for MacArthur, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2.

While Nimitz had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
