Charlie McQuillen was a major factor in Shorewood's victory over Wauwatosa West on Saturday. McQuillen made a splash, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He played a big game the last time he faced Wauwatosa West back in May of 2024, so the team probably should've seen him coming. McQuillen has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
