Catasauqua and Saucon Valley are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Rough Riders will venture away from home to square off against the Panthers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Catasauqua hasn't scored more than two runs for nine games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Catasauqua managed to slip by Northwestern Lehigh the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rough Riders came up short against the Tigers on Tuesday, falling 25-2.

Maliah Price made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and two runs. Those stolen bases were her first of the season.

Meanwhile, Saucon Valley came up short against Southern Lehigh on Thursday and fell 7-3. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost eight in a row.

Ryan Gall was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Catasauqua's record now sits at 0-11. As for Saucon Valley, their record is now 6-9.
