Recap: Ola Mustangs vs. Locust Grove Wildcats
The Ola Mustangs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 47-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Locust Grove. Ola was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Locust Grove apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
Aijah Manning continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Locust Grove, scoring 27 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Manning has scored at least 25% of Locust Grove's points. Another player making a difference was Aniy Hill, who scored 11 points.
Ola's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Locust Grove, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ola will take on Union Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Union Grove is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Locust Grove, they will be playing at home against Dutchtown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
