Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chief Ivan Blunka). They came out on top against the Koliganek Huskies by a score of 64-51 on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Eagles with their most commanding win of the season.

Koliganek's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andy Andrew, who posted 23 points. Those 23 points gave Andrew a new career-high. Asante Barnes was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Chief Ivan Blunka's victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-2. As for Koliganek, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
