Intermountain Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Utah Military Academy - Hill Field only posted an OBP of .406.
Meanwhile, Draper APA won against Intermountain Christian on Tuesday with 14 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 14-12 win over American Heritage. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.
Graham Lowe was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kason Crafts, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with four runs and two RBI.
Draper APA's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Intermountain Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 18-2.
Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Intermountain Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .388.
