Volleyball Recap: Escondido Adventist Academy Takes a Loss

Escondido Adventist Academy lost against Coastal Academy back in September of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hawks lost 3-0 to the Stingrays. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-7, 25-13.

Coastal Academy can attribute much of their success to Mariela Cordoba, who had five aces and three digs.

Escondido Adventist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Coastal Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-17 record this season.

Escondido Adventist Academy will head out to take on Orange Glen at 6:00 p.m. on the 9th. As for Coastal Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against Monte Vista at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
