The Wolverines will be home for the holidays to greet the Chargers at 8:00 p.m. Eagle's Landing Christian Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Union Grove, who comes in off a win.

Union Grove is returning home triumphant after the team finally put their road woes behind them against Hampton on Tuesday. The Wolverines strolled past the Hornets with points to spare, taking the game 71-54. The win continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Eagle's Landing Christian Academy was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 52-51 to Locust Grove. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 271st, while the Wildcats are ranked 87th).

Eagle's Landing Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Union Grove, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Union Grove skirted past Eagle's Landing Christian Academy 61-58 in their previous meeting back in January. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Chargers' Gavin Lamar, who went 6-for-10 from beyond the arc on his way to 23 points and six rebounds. Now that he won't be playing on Thursday, will it be easier for the Wolverines to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
