Basketball Recap: Woodbine Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Woodbine Tigers were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 64-58 to the Carroll Tigers.

Woodbine's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Carroll, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Woodbine wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 76-37 win against Boyer Valley on the 24th. As for Carroll, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 48-47 victory against St. Albert on the 25th.
