Douglas County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Rock Canyon, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1-2 and their overall record down to 4-2-2.

Rock Canyon took their win against Douglas County in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
