Volleyball Game Preview: De La Salle Meteors vs. Fenwick Friars

De La Salle is 0-7 against Fenwick since April of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Meteors will head out on the road to square off against the Friars at 6:00 p.m. De La Salle will be strutting in after a victory while Fenwick will be coming in after a loss.

De La Salle took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Victoria Soto. The victory was some much needed relief for the Meteors as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

De La Salle easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Fenwick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to St. Laurence.

While Fenwick had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21.

Fenwick's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for De La Salle, their win bumped their record up to 9-12.
