Baseball Recap: South Ripley Takes a Loss

The South Ripley Raiders lost 11-1 to the Brownstown Central Braves on Saturday. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Ripley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason McNew, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

South Ripley now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Brownstown Central, their victory bumped their record up to 14-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Ripley will head out to face off against Rising Sun at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Shiners have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Brownstown Central, they are taking a road trip to challenge Silver Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
