Softball Recap: Randolph County Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Randolph County can now relate to. They lost 8-0 to the Madison Academy Mustangs on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tigers have suffered since March 7th.

Randolph County's loss dropped their record down to 21-12. As for Madison Academy, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 32-5.

Randolph County has already played their next contest, an 8-3 defeat against Lee-Scott Academy on the 13th. As for Madison Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 6-0 loss against Wicksburg on the 13th.
