If Brentwood School was riding high fresh off their 48-28 takedown of Oak Park last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The contest between the Eagles and the Palisades Dolphins didn't end well, with the Eagles falling 49-34. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dolphins apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Although Brentwood School took the loss, they still got scores from Kayman Jackson, Enzo Longhi, Kruz Jackson, Robert Sullivan, and Dean Pretlow.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Brentwood School, adding 11 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Jackson, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Brentwood School's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Palisades, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Brentwood School will take on Grace at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Lancers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Palisades, they will face off against El Camino Real at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Royals' defense has only allowed 14.2 points per game this season, so the Dolphins' offense will have their work cut out for them.
