Meade County barely beat Owensboro the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Green Waves' pitchers stepped up to hand the Red Devils an 11-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Green Waves not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 26th (when they won 15-0).

Meade County is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Owensboro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-12.

Meade County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Breckinridge County on the 28th. Owensboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
