Volleyball Recap: Washington Victorious

Washington picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Summit Shasta Black Bears, sneaking past 2-1.

Ethan White paced Washington's offense, picking up 18 kills. White got some help from Kevin Hsieh and his 27 assists. White was also a major player on defense: he and he shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with three each.

The victory got Washington back to even at 7-7. As for Summit Shasta, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.

Washington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Hillsdale on the 12th. As for Summit Shasta, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against King's Academy on the 12th.
