Volleyball Recap: Greenbrier West Comes Up Short

Greenbrier West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Capital Cougars.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-10.

Greenbrier West now has a losing record of 6-7-1. As for Capital, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9-2.

Coming up, Greenbrier West is taking a road trip to challenge Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Capital, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Preston on the 20th.
