Football Recap: Pequea Valley Comes Up Short

Pequea Valley was the 52-6 winner over Columbia when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Braves took a 21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crimson Tide on Friday. The Braves just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Columbia's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cameron McClair, who threw for 67 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 41 yards.

Pequea Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Columbia, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Pequea Valley will challenge rival Hamburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Columbia is set to take on their familiar foe Schuylkill Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
