Basketball Game Recap: Gustavus Foxes vs. Hydaburg Warriors

The Gustavus Foxes lost against the Hydaburg Warriors on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Gustavus ended up on the wrong side of a tough 47-24 walloping at the hands of Hydaburg. Gustavus has not had much luck with Hydaburg recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Phin Patrick was Gustavus' leading scorer, having posted ten points. Patrick also led the team in rebounds with 14. Coulson Arnett took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Gustavus now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Hydaburg, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Gustavus won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Klawock on January 11th. Klawock will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Hydaburg will take on Thorne Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
