After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Paxon School For Advanced Studies, Riverside was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Westside Wolverines as the Riverside Generals made off with a 17-2 victory. The Generals' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Josh Skipper made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out eight batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits (and only one walk). Skipper was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Those hits were his first of the season.

In other batting news, Adrian Gonzalez was a standout: he scored a run and stole Six bases. while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Angelo Frazier, who scored three runs and stole Four bases. while going 3-for-3.

Riverside always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .711. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
