Volleyball Game Preview: Mendota Trojans vs. Kewanee Boilermakers + How To Watch

The Mendota Trojans will square off against the Kewanee Boilermakers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Mendota's tournament run continued when they took on Streator on Saturday. The Trojans fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Mendota sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 18-25, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Kewanee posted their closest victory since October 4th on Monday. They skirted past Monmouth-Roseville 2-1. The Boilermakers haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Kewanee got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-18, 24-26, 25-16.

Kewanee's victory bumped their record up to 14-15-1. As for Mendota, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-26-1.
