Baseball Recap: Frontier Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Frontier duked it out with Waterford on Tuesday. The Cougars came up short against the Wildcats, falling 15-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-7 two weeks ago.

Frontier saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Mendenhall, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Frontier's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Waterford, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frontier will host Federal Hocking at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Waterford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Meigs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
